Amber and Alex: Wedding

Yay! The time has come to put up the full post of Amber and Alex's Pasadena wedding. They got married on a beautiful September day at a gorgeous Craftsmen-style home in South Pasadena.
Amber wanted that "old hollywood" bride look, and I'd say she damn well got it! She made such a beautiful bride and her and Alex, such a hot, fun, awesome couple!
Congrats you two and thank you for letting me capture your happiest moments!

Dannie Matthew and baby Scarlett

Well what an honor it is when your photographer friends ask you to take their family photos!
My friends Matthew and Dannie of Matthew James Photography have been nothing but nice and oober helpful in my journey to becoming a photographer (thanks bunches you two!).
So when they asked me to take photos of them and their cutie patootie baby girl, I was nervous, but agreed with pleasure.
Here are some shots from our family photo shoot:

A Day At The Bay

This week I flew to San Francisco for a couple days for two photo shoots. The city was full of awesome energy after the Giants World Series victory. Everyone was sporting orange and black, Giants flags hung out almost all the windows, even some of the downtown buildings lit up orange! Now, Im not a sports person, and truthfully, I could care less about the world series, but I will say it was so cool to see a city truly unite!
Victory or no victory, San Francisco has always been one of my favorite cities and here's just a glimpse at why:

I definitely lift my heart in San Francisco
*sigh*

A Very Merry Tea Party

My dear little sister and all her dear little friends threw an Alice In Wonderland/Disney themed tea party for their dear friend, Rachel's birthday.
They did a wonderful job with all the planning, baking, and decorating they did. They baked cookies, cupcakes, and a birthday cake. They made tea sandwiches and set the tables with cute colorful candy and assorted tea cups. Their talented friend Calley  created great decorative signs and they all pulled off a very merry setting.
The birthday girl made an awesome Mad Hatter, Annie the Perfect Alice, Calley a very cool white rabbit, and all their friends looked so cute in their costumes (granted some of them need a little lesson on Disney characters).
Here are some shots I got of their merry little tea party:

A very merry unbirthday to you,
Rachel!
