Vic and Lizzie's engagement

Vic and Lizzie are living in New Jersey just across the water from New York. They were in town in April for Coachella and asked if we could fit in an engagement session while they were here. 

We did and I am so glad.

They are the sweetest, most in love couple ever.

It only took about 20 seconds until we all felt like we'd known each other for ever!

and finally, we ended the day by taking a drive up to the top of the Burbank Hills and shared a bottle of really yummy wine.

Fun City: Palm Springs

This past weekend, myself and my two good friends, Nicole (yes, they are both named Nicole) took a much needed girls getaway to what we are calling Fun City, Palm Springs. I hadn't been there since High School (which was about 12 years ago) so I hardly remembered what it was like other than hot.

Well, it was GREAT! An easy drive, only took a quarter of a gas tank to get there (RAD!!!), relaxing, and so retro it's awesome! We had a three bedroom, three bathroom house with a private pool and hot tub all to ourselves... It was perfection!

We worked on our tans, cooked, drank, watched chick flicks, swam, played games, and most of all, RELAXED!

We did hit the town saturday night and checked out the oh-so-cool Ace Hotel, where we saw a wedding take place (we decided not to crash it heehee) and were followed by the cutest little hummingbird. He seriously sat on twigs and trees and bushes following us from one end of the hotel to the other. Magical.

Anyway, in a nutshell, it was FABULOUS and just what we needed. 

We can't wait to go back and do it all again!
