Farewell to Ferrell: Lee's Last Night

A couple weeks ago, a bunch of friends and I gathered after work at our usual water hole, The Blue, for what we all thought was Lee's belated birthday celebration. To our sad surprise, Lee (aka "Old Man") announced that it was his last night working with us.

Lee Ferrell has been a very special member of our crew -to say the least- for many years and his raspy cigarette-tainted voice, over-told vacation stories, dirty old man mind, and grumpy cursing sailer mouth will be missed in the aisle of our store like no other.

Of course I brought my camera along that night and I'm happy to say I cought some great shots of Lee's last night:

Someone Like You

For our anniversary, the bf and I celebrated by going to see the Kings Of Leon! I bought the tickets back in March (which was when our anniversary actually was) and since our song is "Someone Like You" by the Kings, I felt it was more than an appropriate gift ; )

The concert took place last week and here are some shots from the show:

Tommy's World

Last month I did a shoot for my darling friend, Daniela. She has been nothing but encouraging and supportive of my dreams to become a pro photographer (Thank you, Daniela <3 ) So it was an honor and a joy to do a shoot celebrating her baby boy's first birthday!

Here are some shots of Daniela and her one year-old son, Tommy:

as I was shooting, I kept seeing this awesome dinosaur in the trees behind Tommy. It just felt like we were stepping into the infinite imagination of a child. Enter Tommy's World!

 We were also greeted by a friendly guy and his two precious dogs...
