Matt & Dannie's engagement

A few weeks ago, I flew up to San Francisco to shoot my dear friends and fellow photographers, Matt and Dannie's engagement photos. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love these two. I met them a couple of years ago and since then, they have been nothing but wonderful to me. You know when you just meet someone and you feel like you've known them your whole life? Well, that's them. They are 100% giving, oober talented photographers themselves (see their work here), they are freaking hilarious, totally hot, and made one of the cutest babies I've ever seen.

It's a little nerve-wrecking shooting photos for another photographer, but in typical Matt and Dannie form, they made it a cool, comfortable, and fun task for me.
We went around the Mission District and shot at one of my favorite shops, Belljar, down Clarion Alley, and in my dad's bar, The Knockout. We went for sushi and ended our day in Russian Hill with ice cream at Swensen's.

 Im madly in love with this shoot and I am absolutely honored, thrilled, and excited as hell to shoot their wedding next year!

A few from Natalie and Corey's Engagement

You may remember my beautiful friend Natalie from this shoot we did a long time ago. Well I am so proud and happy to announce that she and her long-time boyfriend, Corey are engaged! 

Corey popped the question on Christmas morning and no sooner than she said yes, she told me so we could start planning engagement photos!

We did what I am calling "part one" of Natalie and Corey's engagement session a few weeks ago and I hope to do part 2 soon. Unfortunately, my computer is on the fritz so editing photos has not been an easy task lately, but a new computer is just around the corner and thus, the rest of Natalie and Corey's photos (and other photo shoots) will be posted soon!

My Big Three Oh!

Just a couple weeks ago, I turned 30!! Now, most people think I'm weird for saying this, but I've been looking forward to being 30 for years! So this was a big deal for me. Every woman I've ever met who's in their thirties or forties has told me that their 30s are the best years of their lives, so I've been ready.

 Cheers to that!

All in all, it's off to a good start. The bday bashing was a good time and here are the pics to prove it!
