So This Is Christmas...

well, I am back from a snow-covered England and I cannot believe that Christmas Eve is officially here!
I have to say, walking around snow-kissed towns decorated in Christmas cheer, the smell of mulled wine everywhere you go, lights twinkling over the streets of the towns; I never felt so Christmassy in my life before!
Christmas truly was all around.
So now on this night before Christmas, I leave you with a couple photos from Christmas Land in England:

and one from home..

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Imagine...

December 8th is always a very emotional and special day for me. Though I wasn't even born until two years after it happened, today marks the 30th anniversary of one of the saddest days in history; the tragic death of the best Beatle,
 John Lennon.
It means a lot to me personally, because there are so many ties to John Lennon and the Beatles and my childhood. My dad raised me on great music, the Beatles of course included in that. John was and still is one of my dad's idols, and so he reminds me so much of my dad.
Growing up, though, I came to love John on my own and will always and forever.
So today, I'm honoring two of the greatest men to ever grace our planet, John Lennon and my dear Daddy-o!
John, may you rest in peace and Daddy, 143!

Rena and her happy family: sneak peak

Alas, the final sneak peak from this photolicious Nor Cal weekend is of Rena and her happy little family, including their furry four-legged family members too!

Andre Thierry: Sneak Peak

Another shoot from this quick trip to the Bay Area was of Andre Thierry. He is an awesome accordion player, singer and Zydeco performer. After our shoot, I got the opportunity to go see him perform and boy is he good!
You can check him out here and check out his sneak peak right here:

The Seguravich Family: sneak peak

The final shoot of today was my aunt and uncle and their two cuter than cute daughters, otherwise known as
"The Seguravich Family".
You probably recognize Elena and John from their baby bump photos posted here, and Bianca from her photos posted here, but it's about time we saw some photos of them all together, right? And now, add one more to that family of three! With the recent birth of miss Maya Luna, a family photo session was an absolute must!
Here is a little sneak peak of this cute quad:

Meet Maya

I mentioned earlier in Elena's baby bump sneak peak post here, I would be meeting my new baby cousin Maya for the first time this weekend and snapping some photos of her preciousness.
Well, what can I say? She is cuter than words can describe.
Meet my new beautiful baby cousin, Maya Luna Paloma:

I  told you she was precious!

Carolina, Brian, and Nick: Mother and son fun! Sneak Peak

Another shoot from today in The Bay:
Carolina and her two sons, Brian and Nick.
I'm callin' this one "Mother and son fun" simply because the three of them were so much fun to shoot! It was awesome to see the love they all have for each other, and it shows right through in their photos.
Here is a sneak peak of Carolina and her boy's shoot:

Baby Bump: sneak-a-peak-a-boo!

My aunt Elena and Uncle John flew me up to San Francisco a few weeks back to take some "belly shots" before their little baby number 2 entered the world. Good thing I went up when I did, because about 2 days after I flew back down, Maya Luna surprised us all and made her grand entrance early! I'll be heading back up to the Bay today and taking photos of Maya this weekend, but for now,  here is just a little sneak peak of her when she was still in the belly:

Katrina: Beautiful Bride

A couple months back, I did a shoot for bride-to-be, Katrina. Her and her now husband, Nick tied the knot last month in an intimate courthouse setting in Santa Barbara. Because they opted for a smaller ceremony, Katrina asked me to do a shoot for her in her wedding gown prior to their big day. Of course I agreed with pleasure!
Katrina made a beautiful bride as you can see in these shots and Nick is one hell of a lucky man!
Have a look:

Congrats to Mr and Mrs Capoun!
